Question by Master ß: Does God wish not to save us, but to SAVOR us?
I’ve been to some church functions, and they always have various decadent foods, particularly desserts (including Devil’s food cake).
The Catholics I think do it best, their gigs feature full-blown gourmet-catered food and drink. The Baptists come up second, with their tater salad and fried chicken and other stuff.
It seems convenient that many of God’s followers, while not embracing gluttony, still manage to pack on the pounds in the glory of God.
Could this indicate God wishes to be able to SAVOR us, with relish, upon our ascent to heaven, particularly since we know that fat people are more buoyant than thin people?

1. Fireball, shut up.
2. Yum, can I have some Angel Cake? Good stuff.
Last time I heard God was a vegan.
You would think Mormons would have the best food, with all the extra wives around to do the cooking and baking.
Good question… maybe that’s why the bible makes no sense: it’s written in an alien language that, when translated, is found to be a book titled To Serve Man. Maybe he can use all the Elder Parsnips of Mormon infamy as seasoning.
