lately i havent been myself–im really stressed out @work–i’ve been there 8yrs & just cant bring myself to get up everyday-i sit @my desk & literally start tearing–i really hate it there-it sucks everything thats good about me out-with the economy as is-i cant afford to leave or make a bold move-i find myself hitting the couch as soon as i get home-so tired & lifeless i can barely move to wash the makeup off my face–every little joy ive had i dont enjoy anymore-i did start taking this online course for a career diploma in catering & gourmet cooking-which is my passion-but im so just down all the time i’ve barely gotten through the first lesson plan-everything-everything feels wrong-like this is the way my life is gonna be & i have no say in it-i struggle to just get through the day–every1 i talk to tells me the same thing-to take it easy-how can i take it easy when there’s all this weight on my shoulder–i get filled with anxiety-im so nervous all the time & worried about every little thing–i dont know how to stop feeling this way & i dont remember what it felt like to enjoy life-i use to be a joy to be around -now@ home im just snappy all the time–and miserable-energyless-and i dont know what i should do-any advice

Depression is miserable. If you are depressed, you are usually sad about an event or something about you life, and its hard to get happier. When you have depression, you tend to be alot more depressed about alot of things.
Stay away from depression… it sucks

Sometimes i dont because the only way to describe it is duuhhhhhhummmmmmmnnnickyickyickycryscreamfrustratenervouslysmilingboringsad. nothing nothing nothing. 1. you are a fighter, i know this because this question is a question of concern. keep going, talk to your doctore, talk to your friends, talk to your parents, your siter or brother, anyone! dont think stress is bigger than the word and the factua meaning, its not you, your not stress, stress is a demon, release your mond and unwine, do something.

Stress and anxiety can mimic depression. However, stress and anxiety can exacerbate symptoms of depression. You are making transitions in your life by continuing your education. Often times, transitions.life changes evoke feelings of anxiety.
You would benefit from speaking to a counselor. Is it possible that you are afraid of life outside of the box once you pursue your dreams as a gourmet cook? Are you afraid you may fail? There are several factors that can be culprits in your stress and anxiety.
Clinical depression, however, is usually diagnosed based on a number of criteria. (loss of interest in things you usually enjoy, increased fatigue, feelings of hopelessness, etc.) If you answered yes to all of those symptoms, maybe you need to get a psych eval. You have some symptoms based on your post, but its not enough to make a diagnosis. Consult a psychiatrist. I will pray for you as well.
It happens when you have less to do and more to think about, you become overwhelmed by lack of goals & accomplishments, life is a gift, you decide what to do with it. Step out of your comfort zone and do something that would scare the hell out of you, like go to college and bunk with roommates or go to a school that is far way from home. Don’t let life turn you into a bitter person and don’t allow secrets, yourself or anyone to hold you back from an excellent future. Keep your head up girly and when life gives you lemons then make lemonade and when you are shy embarrass yourself and move on because then you can laugh at yourself more often than cry about it. Remember life+lemons=lemonade and life-lemon-=bitter. Which one will you pick. Smile & laugh often, it is a blessing.
