    Manager makes sure that the rooms are clean and ready for guests. makes sure the employees show up on time. Keeps the guests happy during their stay. Make sure everyone gets their paycheck on time. Make sure the pool water is crystal clear.
    Catering is serving the food in the ballroom of a big hotel or under a tent. The director does the same thing as a manager. Get the food and employees there on time.
    Event planner would set up more than just the food (caterer). She might arrange the wedding and hire a minister. Order flowers and the decor.
    Gourmet catering owner owns the company that delivers the food. She might no actually be there when the food is served. That would be the catering director’s job. She orders the food and hires the employees and gets new business.
    They are all exciting jobs with lots of good times alternated with periods of high stress. Pick Hotel Manager and Catering Owner.
